IVF with Sperm Donor is used when the husband’s sperm is unable to fertilize the egg or when a single woman wants to have a child.It might not be possible to use a man’s sperm when production of spermatozoa is severely impaired or absent, often caused by sperm damage following surgery, radiation or chemotherapy.

Sperm donation also gives the opportunity to single women and homosexual couples to have children, depending on the laws of each country.
